Theater of Grace

Where Passion for God and Exceptional Talent
Collide in Artistic Messages of Hope and Salvation

we believe

that it isn’t the facts of scripture that convinces hearts and minds of truth.

It is the stories and testimonies of those who have lived and experienced those truths that presents the most compelling evidence for God’s transforming grace and love.

You are His Theater of Grace.

“The followers of Christ, enfeebled, defective as they may appear, are the one object on earth upon which God bestows in a special sense His love and His regard. They are the Theater of His grace, in which He delights in revealing the transforming power of His mercy on human hearts.”  ~ Theater of Grace

Why Use Stories To Spread The Gospel?

“Those who tell the stories rule the world.”
~ Hopi American Indian proverb

There is no genre better suited to take the last message of hope and warning to this last generation more effectively than movies.

Movies appeal to the technically oriented culture of the vast majority of earth’s inhabitants.

Movies are more than merely moving pictures, they move the audience.

The more they move the audience, the more memorable they become as people are taken beyond merely seeing and hearing what is being presented – into experiencing it.

When an audience can shed tears for the pain of or stand up and cheer for the triumph of a fictional character, they are experiencing the message of the film.

Tell me, I forget.
Show me, I remember.
Involve me, I understand.
 ~ Chinese Proverb

“There’s always room for a story that can transport people to another place.”
–J.K. Rowling

Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today.” —Robert McKee

“The stories we tell literally make the world. If you want to change the world, you need to change your story. This truth applies both to individuals and institutions.” –Michael Margolis

I’d say that storytelling has always been the best tool to communicate ideas, persuade others, and get what you want.” Dave Kerpen

“Stories are our primary tools of learning and teaching, the repositories of our lore and legends. They bring order into our confusing world. Think about how many times a day you use stories to pass along data, insights, memories or common-sense advice.” -– Edward Miller, founder of Edward Elementary

“Stories are memory aids, instruction manuals and moral compasses.”– Aleks Krotoski, author, broadcaster, journalist and social psychologist

“There isn’t a stronger connection between people than storytelling.” –Jimmy Neil Smith, Director of the International Storytelling Center

“There is no greater power on this earth than story.” — Libba Bray, author

“Stories constitute the single most powerful weapon in a leader’s arsenal.” –Dr. Howard Gardner, professor Harvard University
